RABBITS
Rabbit Vaccinations
We strongly advise your rabbit is vaccinated yearly against Myxo and VHD1 and VHD2.
All these diseases are deadly and a yearly vaccine for each can help prevent the loss of your furry friends.
At Valley Vets ALL our vaccinations prices include a full health check
To check for problems even if you have not been aware of them and often allow an early diagnosis that can be so important in ensuring a successful outcome.
Neutering
Neutering is also strongly recommended for your rabbit. This helps to prevent unnecessary health complications and stress. Your rabbit will live a longer and happier life once neutered. Neutering will also prevent any unwanted litters, and give your rabbit the benefit that he/she will be able to live with a mate. Rabbits are highly sociable animals and it is recommended that they live in groups of at least 2. The recommended pairing is a neutered female with a neutered male.
